Cirencester

Our visit to the Cotswalds ended with a stroll through Cirencester, and a visit to the Corinium Museum and the Parish Church of St John the Baptist.

Despite being 33 years older, the Roman mosaics in the Corinium Museum, Cirencester, looked much the same as when we saw them last in 1978.  It is still one of the best small museums, but now it has an upper gallery and is connected to a pleasant cafe.

Elizabeth I inherited this cup, which is displayed in the church, from her mother Anne Boleyn.

I'd like to see the enlarged version of the windows etc. Maybe when you come home you can show me the original photos.
